Comprehensive Autism Services (CAC) is an organization dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families. Our commitment to providing evidence-based behavioral interventions, early intervention, and diagnostic services ensures a holistic, family-centered approach to autism care.

Our Services

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

We offer high-quality ABA therapy in a playful, preschool-like environment designed for children aged 2-6. Our centers are equipped with the latest technology and resources to support individualized treatment plans, fostering social opportunities and skill development. 

Parent Education and Support

Recognizing the critical role of families in the success of therapy, we provide extensive parent education and support services. Workshops, trainings, and resources help families build skills and strategies to support their child's progress and well-being​.

For families seeking convenient and comprehensive care at home, our experienced therapists provide tailored ABA programs for children up to 18 years of age that address each child's unique needs and goals.

Early Intervention

Our Early Explorers Program is a parent-led coaching service for children with developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and/or an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis. This program empowers parents to support their child's development from the very beginning​.

Those enrolled in our telehealth program receive remote intervention, and we utilize screening tools to assist with determining if this program is clinically appropriate for your child.

Diagnostic Evaluations

Our licensed psychologist conducts thorough developmental evaluations for children aged 0-6 at our Temecula and San Diego locations. These evaluations identify concerns related to autism, global developmental delays, or intellectual disabilities and inform the creation of effective, personalized treatment plans​.

Our Leadership

Monique Erickson is the Executive Director of Operations at the Comprehensive Autism Center (CAC) and leads CAC’s center-based program. Monique completed her study of Behavior Analysis at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2007. Monique’s journey in ABA began while at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and gained valuable experience in Dr. Laura Schreibman’s autism lab. Upon graduation, she continued to acquire experience working with children with autism within home-based ABA programs and earned a Master’s degree in Special Education from San Diego State University (SDSU). Prior to joining CAC’s team in 2014 she oversaw ABA clinics in New York and Texas for one of the largest ABA providers.  While she has enjoyed working across the school, home and center settings, Monique’s passion continues to be developing applied best practices in the center-based environment. 

Valerie Rogers, PhD, BCBA-D

Dr. Valerie Rogers leads CAC's in-home and remote services programs and also serves as the President Elect on the Board of Directors for the California Association for Behavior Analysis (CalABA). Dr. Rogers received her Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2011 and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2008. Dr. Rogers’ passion for behavior analysis and children with autism began while attending Western Michigan University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Lee Honors College.  Upon graduation, Dr. Rogers attended the doctoral program in Behavior Analysis at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) where she held multiple roles within various behavior analytic organizations.  Dr. Rogers’ clinical interests continue to focus on behavior analytic intervention for children with developmental delays and disabilities, particularly the acquisition of desirable behavior and reduction of aberrant behavior.  Her research interests include clinical outcomes of ABA intervention, response variability and reinforcement and extinction effects relating, in particular, to the behavior of children with autism. She has presented her research at several national and state conferences.
