Our Intake Process

STEP 1: CONTACT US

Reach out to one of our team members so that we can learn more about your family's needs and guide you through the ABA therapy journey.

STEP 2: DIAGNOSIS

Our team provides autism screenings and we have a licensed psychologist that provides comprehensive developmental evaluations of children 0-6 years old. Once a diagnosis is confirmed, we complete an initial assessment to allow us to get a complete understanding of your child’s abilities. Please note, a diagnosis is not always required to receive ABA services. Our Family Liaison will guide you through your options as part of your initial inquiry.

STEP 3: REFERRAL

Your child’s pediatrician sends a referral to our CAC Family Liaison to confirm that your child meets CAC Diagnostics’ Inclusion Criteria.

STEP 4: SCREENING

Our Family Liaison will hold an initial screening to ensure we answer any questions or concerns. This initial screening criteria includes medical information based on age of child, evaluations, and the clinical scope of services.

STEP 5: INSURANCE + PAPERWORK

Our Family Liaison will help families complete the intake paperwork and submit to our Intake Team. We will also confirm insurance coverage and request authorization from insurance provider. Once submitted, our team will review availability and confirm schedule.

STEP 6: ONBOARDING

After a clinical assessment is conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), we develop an individualized therapy program that reflects your family’s specific needs while building on the unique abilities of your child.

STEP 7: 1-TO-1 THERAPY

Children are immersed in a structured, stimulating, and caring environment designed specifically for learners with autism. Each child works individually with a behavior therapist, and in-center children will also participate in therapist-led group activities. The child’s intervention program is designed and supervised by a BCBA.

Do you have some concerns about an autism diagnosis for your child?
